Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. In the event that, the Practitioner with whom User has booked a paid appointment via the Website, has not been able to meet the User, User will need to write to us at support@Medoctic.com within five (5) days from the occurrence of such event; in which case, the entire consultation amount as mentioned on the Website will be refunded to the User within the next five (5) to six (6) business days in the original mode of payment done by the User while booking. In case where the User, does not show up for the appointment booked with a Practitioner, without cancelling the appointment beforehand, the amount will not be refunded, and treated as under Clause 3.4.6. However, where cancellation charges have been levied (as charged by the Practitioner/Practice), you would not be entitled to complete refund even if you have cancelled beforehand.
  2. Users will not be entitled for any refunds in cases where, the Practitioner is unable to meet the User at the exact time of the scheduled appointment time and the User is required to wait, irrespective of the fact whether the User is required to wait or choose to not obtain the medical services from the said Practitioner.
  3. If the patient cancels a booking more than five hours before scheduled appointment time an automated refund will be issued after deducting transaction fee, if any.
  4. If patient cancels a booking within five hours of scheduled appointment time 50% automated refund will be done.
  5. In case of no show by the patient during appointed time no refund will be generated.
  6. If the doctors do not show up during appointed time full automated refund will be issued.
  7. If Appointment is taken within two hours of scheduled time and doctor does not show up, full automated refund will be done.
  8. If the patient does not show up during appointed time no refund will be issued.
  9. If the consultation does not happen due to any special circumstance including technical issues, an option to request refund will be available to the patient for a period of 7 days but the issuance of full or part refund will be on the sole discretion of MEDOCTIC.
  10. If appointment / consultation is cancelled due to technical issues by doctor than full refund will be made.
  11. All refunds will be subject to a transaction charge that will be deducted while making a refund.
